Protecting what matters most.
Josh Burns • Candidate for Michigan State Senate • District 21
Defend innocent life. Empower parents. Protect our children.
Every human life has value — from the moment of conception. We are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God, and I will fight to protect the innocent every step of the way.
Education funding must follow each student to the school, program, or homeschool that serves them best — empowering parents and rewarding results over bureaucracy.
I will defend the innocence of Michigan's children. Schools have no place introducing gender ideology or LGBTQ indoctrination to young students. Parents — not activists or bureaucrats — decide when and how these topics are addressed.
End property taxes. Protect our water and soil. Defend private property rights.
No one truly owns their home when they must pay the government every year just to keep it. I will work to end property taxes and restore genuine ownership of land to Michigan families.
Michigan's water and soil belong to its people. I will protect them from industrial threats, defend our aquifers and farmland, and ensure responsible stewardship that honors our land's sovereignty and sustains Michigan families.
Private property is the foundation of liberty. I will fight eminent domain abuse and regulatory overreach from Lansing down to our local communities to protect how Michiganders use their own land.
Cut wasteful spending. End unconstitutional surveillance. Champion small business.
I will slash wasteful spending, root out fraud, cut bureaucracy, and reduce the tax burden on working families — so Michiganders keep more of what they earn.
Flock cameras and vehicle kill switches represent unconstitutional surveillance of Michigan citizens by their own government. I will fight to remove these tools and protect the privacy of our families.
Small businesses are the engine of liberty and self-reliance. I'll slash red tape, reduce government interference, and empower entrepreneurs to build, innovate, and grow without unnecessary burden.
Coming Monday, May 25th
Official launch announcement and full platform details will be released shortly.
I'm a husband, father, and lifelong Michigander running for State Senate in District 21 because government has grown too powerful, too expensive, and too intrusive into our daily lives.
Whether it's Flock cameras and vehicle surveillance, gender ideology in schools, property taxes that prevent true homeownership, or regulatory overreach that strips us of our land rights — enough is enough.
That's why I am running — to cut the waste, defend our liberties, protect innocent life, and return power to the people.
We need volunteers, donors, and supporters who believe government should serve the people — not the other way around.
